Hebrews 1:13-14 (KJV) DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that there are angels that are actually working on your behalf, if you are a child of God? God is literally sending the angels to go get everything you need, everything you have been praying for, and even God-given desires you have had. This may seem to some a scene from a fairy tale or as something that may be a little far-fetched to believe. However, this is far from a fairy tale and the most true thing you should grab ahold of at this moment. The proof is in the word:
“13. But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14. Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them that who shall be heirs of salvation?” Hebrews 1:13-14 (KJV)
I mean, how could this really seem that ridiculous? Demons are spirits and so go into and out of people all the time. In fact, I can even think of a few that are part of a church, they call them the “demon board”, I mean “deacon board”. Of course, I am not speaking of every board member, just those so caught up in religion that they wouldn’t know the move of the Holy Ghost no more than then a blind mouse knows he is walking into the mouth of a hungry cat.
Still, demons are spirits sent by the devil in every form and fashion, and I do mean “fashion” to try and persuade every one that will allow them into all kinds of ways of living, thinking, and acting. If you don’t even think this true, just turn on the communist news network, or any other abc agency and listen for a few minutes. Nothing said is positive nor reflective of living a righteous and holy life. They are all about greed, self, fear, violence, and more. None of which are signs of godly behavior but rather behavior of the devil.
Where do you think suicide, depression, adultery, and the like come from? It wasn’t just some random thought that came into Johnny’s mind, “Well, today I think I will go cheat on my wife.” No, something had to speak into his life which then created a thought, then the thought formed into planning via speech, and talk turns to action. This in turn, results in sin which separates us from God.
Better yet, what about in the church? Oh, this will really make some religious devils angry. “It is time to bring our offerings and tithes to the Lord.” A man or woman of God comes up to speak on the principles of giving and financial stewardship. “Oh well, no body says we have to give”. “They don’t need my money. Have you seen what they drive while I have my old beat down Corolla?” Or perhaps even, “Oh it’s alright that you don’t have anything to give, that money you have is for bill money. And don’t forget your membership to the spa and gym as well as you are supposed to spend $xx on Starbucks to qualify for a free drink this month and you don’t want to miss that!” Even in the church, things that are meant to be used to bless us wind up cursing us. Where do you think that influence comes from?
In the same token, the bible is clear, WE HAVE ANGELS WORKING FOR US! Just re-read that verse from the beginning in Hebrews 1:14
“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
God is sending angels everyday on the behalf of Christians, just like you and me, to make sure everything is getting done for your benefit. So when you pray, “Lord, I need my rent payment!” and then you stand on his word in that prayer as Philippians tells us,
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” Philippians 4:6 (KJV)
Then God immediately hears your prayers, and dispatches the necessary Angelic SWAT team to the scene. They go out and fight the principalities and powers in the air. They go through every dark place, through every nook and cranny, searching. What are they searching for? They are searching for the man or woman of God that is totally sold out and yielded to the Lord and ready for service, to go and work on your behalf. They speak to the heart of that person, “Do you know Elliott over there in Colorado? Yeah, that is the one you are thinking of. Send him a seed of $xxx dollars. He has been praying and needs it right now.” Then, if that person responds, great, the task is complete. If they do not, then they immediately go through to find the next person that might fit the description of that person that will be ready to serve, until that find the task is complete.
And would you know, the angels of heaven complete the tasks they are sent to accomplish. Remember, God’s word never returns void.
“10. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but watereth the earth, and taketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread for to the eater: 11. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11 (KJV)
God’s word accomplishes everything whereto it HAS BEEN SENT! Did you get that? Those are shouting terms right there. Come on! He sends his word as a call to action for the angels to immediately go to work on your behalf, every time you pray in accordance to God’s word! There will not be one angel in heaven standing before God almighty and say, “Sorry Father of Light and Creator of the Universe, I failed you.” They will have returned to the Father victorious and complete in the mission they were sent to fulfill on your behalf.
One last thing to share, just in case you still may not think this be something for us. Look at Daniel. In Daniel 9:21-23 and again in 10:12-13, we see two different instances where Daniel was visited with answers from angels. One was from Gabriel and the other from another angel.
Gabriel told Daniel, “At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee . . .” (read Daniel 9:21-23).
The other angel told Daniel, “ . . . for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days, but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me . . .” (read Daniel 10 entirely).
You see, both times, the prayers were immediately heard and commandment given. Yet, one of the times there was a little bit of a waiting that had to take place in order for the answer to come. Sometimes, the angels have to fight the demonic forces that would try to stop what God wants to do. Meanwhile, the man or woman of God waits in turmoil or uncertainty, hungry for an answer as Daniel was.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS, I am here to tell you, “HOLD ON, YOUR ANSWER IS ALMOST HERE! IT”S ABOUT TO HAPPEN FOR YOU!” God has sent his angels to work on your behalf. They will not fail! They cannot fail for they were not designed to fail because God’s word never fails! You will see your victory. Hallelujah!
In conclusion, no matter what you are facing or how uncertain the outcome, keep trusting the Lord. He will bring everything to pass. Just keep plowing the field and being obedient to him. Amen?!
